Animal welfare is a fundamental pillar of our business ethos. We are deeply committed to ensuring the humane treatment of our cattle throughout every stage of the supply chain, making animal welfare a core responsibility for all involved in their care.

Our state-of-the-art feedlots provide ample resources for our grain-fed program, offering locally grown and carefully balanced rations tailored to the animals’ needs. Similarly, our grass-fed program prioritizes high-quality pasture from our pristine land. We take pride in never administering added hormones from birth to slaughter, and antibiotics are only used when prescribed by a veterinarian for the treatment of specific cases, ensuring a truly natural product raised sustainably.

To uphold animal welfare standards, we employ fully-trained animal welfare officers at all our sites and conduct continuous training for all employees. By understanding animals’ behaviors and their perception of their environment, we ensure they are raised with care and respect. Our harvest plant designs and methods are meticulously crafted to minimize stress and fear during the slaughter process.

We guarantee that animals are treated with dignity throughout the entire process, in accordance with the five freedoms outlined by the Farm Animal Welfare Council of England in 2016.
